GENRE AND STYLE DOMINANTS OF ANALYTICAL TEXTS IN THE MODERN MASS-MEDIA
Abstract. The author analyzes stylistic resource and potential of language units of analytical genres in modern mass media. According to various
important for media criteria actual functions of media analytics – information, analysis, evaluation, influence, manipulation, emotional and expressive, cognitive, etc. are illustrated The
research attention is paid to the dominant language means of media analysis of the information in the appropriate genres – analytical article, analytical interview, comments, blog, news, and
others. Therefore, functional and stylistic features of the author's evaluation in media analytical texts, that regularly appear in the semantics and structure of lexical, syntactic units,
phraseology, stylistic figures, are also qualified. It is also mentioned about actualization of the lingual means of analytical media, correlated with time, space of information culture and the
dynamics of development of forms of literary language.
