Professor L. Shevchenko is a vice-chairman of the Ukrainian committee of slavists; a member of stylistic commission of the International committee of slavists; advisor of the Chairman of the Ukrainian national committee of the International chamber of commerce, chair person of the linguistic expertise bureau of the Ukrainian national committee of the International chamber of commerce etc.

During 1982-1984 professor L. Shevchenko was teaching Ukrainian and Russian languages in the Paris university - Paris VIII (Université de Vincennes à Saint-Denis).

Doctoral dissertation "Intellectualization of Ukrainian literary language: linguistic, theoretic and epistemologic aspectology" (2002).

Laureate of Taras Shevchenko reward of Kyiv national Taras Shevchenko university for the cycle of scientific works "Modern Ukrainian lexicography" (2012).

Professor L. Shevchenko cooperates with international scientific organizations of the Republic of Macedonia, Poland, South Korea, Russia etc. (Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, St. Cyril and Methodius university, Moscow state M.V. Lomonosov university etc.).

Author of over than 200 scientific papers.

Research interests: theory, philosophy, history of literary language, Slavic linguistics, terminology, functional stylistics, medialinguistics, juridical linguistics, lexicography.

Research interests: sociolinguistics, cross-language interference in Slavic languages, Slavic folklore (comparative aspects) ethnolinguistics, Slavic literary parallels with particular reference to the romantic literature of the Polish-Ukrainian frontier. 

ADAM FALOWSKI

 

Dr. hab, professor; chief of the department of Ukrainian studies of the Institute of East Slavic philology of Jagiellonian university ( Krakow, Poland)

 

Professor A. Falowski - member of linguistics` commission of Polish Academy of sciences, member of the commission of Slavic studies of the Polish Academy of sciences, member of the International association of Ukrainian studies etc.

Research interests: Ukrainian studies, Russian studies, history of language, lexicology, lexicography, etymology, ethnolinguistics.

LIDIYA GNATYUK

 

Doctor of philology, professor; professor of department of Ukrainian language and applied linguistics  of Institute of philology of Kyiv national Taras Shevchenko university.

 

During 1993-1994. prof. L. Gnatyuk as a scholar of the International grant of Y.H.nHerder of the A. Toepfer Foundation (Germany) was improving the knowledge of German language and listening linguistic courses at the University of Vienna (Austria). Also she taught Ukrainian language at Keele University (Germany, 1996), linguistic courses at the University of Vienna (Austria, 1998, 1999, 2000).

Doctoral dissertation "Language consciousness and language practice of Hryhory Skovoroda in the context of Old Ukrainian tradition" (2011).

Author of about 100 scientific papers.

Research interests: history of Ukrainian language, history of Ukrainian literary language, modern Ukrainian literary language, comparative and historical linguistics, cognitive linguistics.

PAVLO GRYTSENKO

 

Doctor of philology, professor; Director of Institute of Ukrainian language of National academy of sciences of Ukraine, chief of department of dialectology of Institute of Ukrainian language of National academy of sciences of Ukraine.

 

Member of international committees of Common Slavic linguistic atlas, ethnolinguistics, Slavic dialectology of the International Slavic Committee, member of the Ukrainian Slavic Committee.

In 1991 prof. P. Grytsenko defended the doctoral thesis.

Author of publications of Ukrainian and Slavic linguistics.

Research interests: Ukrainian dialect language, problems of interaction of dialects and literary language, dialect relations between the Slavic languages.

DEL GAUDIO SALVATORE

 

PhD (Italy)

 

In 1994 graduated from the Neapolitan university "l'Orientale", got a diploma of foreign languages and literatures (equivalent of qualification of master's degree of philology). Basic subjects: English and Russian studies. Not basic subjects: German studies.

In 1994 got a certificate of the oral translator (English-Italian languages) in Sidney (Australia).

In 2008 got the PhD degree. Dissertation is sanctified to the questions of Ukrainian studies.

In 2014 got general national habilitation (Abilitazione of scientifica nazionale) on the rank of the "associated professor" of Slavic studies (Italy).

Participant of the program DAAD (German academic experience exchange) of the department of Slavic studies of Oldenburg university (2015).

Research interests: Slavic and Roman linguistics, sociolinguistics, contrastive linguistics, Ukrainian and Italian dialectology, Ukrainian language in diaspore etc.

SVITLANA YERMOLENKO

 

Corresponding member of the National academy of sciences of Ukraine, doctor of philology, professor; chief of the department of stylistics and culture of language of Institute of Ukrainian language of National academy of sciences of Ukraine.

 

Doctoral thesis "Stylistic component in the semantics of syntactic units" (1984).

Professor S. Yermolenko - member of the International commission of development of Slavic literary languages, a member of the editorial board of encyclopedia "Ukrainian language", executive editor of the scientific journal "Culture of speech" .

In 1999 within the framework of the international project "Najnowsze dzieje języków slowiańskich" (Opole, Poland) prof. S. Yermolenko led the Ukrainian scientists, who were writing collective monograph "Ukrainian language 1945-1995".

Research interests: linguostylistics, stylistics of Slavic languages, syntax, theory of literary language, linguofolkloristics, culture of language, Ukrainian, Slavic studies.

MAKSIM KARANFILOVSKI

TETYANA KOVALEVSKA

 

Doctor of philology, professor; chief of the department of Ukrainian language of philological faculty of Odessa national I.I.Mechnikov university .

 

Doctoral thesis "Modeling of empathy in modern Ukrainian language" (2002).

Author of over than 120 scientific papers.

Research interests: speech and language influence, suggestive linguistics, neurolinguistic programming.

LYUDMYLA KUDRYAVTSEVA

 

Doctor of philology, professor

 

Professor L. Kudryavtseva - President of the Ukrainian association of teachers of Russian language and literature; member of the Presidium of the International association of teachers of Russian language and literature; chief editor of the scientific journal "Rusystyka" and others.

Doctoral thesis "Modeling of dynamics of vocabulary (based on lexical innovations of Russian language)" (1992).

Professor L. Kudryavtseva was decorated with different international awards "For contribution to world science", "For contribution to the saving and development of Russian language in Ukraine" etc.

Research interests: dynamics of lexical semantics, language of media, language of the city.

LIDIYA LYSYCHENKO

 

Doctor of philology, professor; professor of the department of Ukrainian language of the H. Kvitka-Osnovjanenko Ukrainian language and literature faculty of Kharkiv national Hryhory Skovoroda pedagogical university.

 

For a long time professor L. Lysychenko was a dean of the philological faculty, chief of department of Ukrainian language of Kharkiv national Hryhory Skovoroda pedagogical university.

Professor L. Lysychenko - chief editor of scientific edition "Linguistic studies".

OKSANA LUTSENKO

ROSTYSLAV RADYSHEVSKY

Author of more than 200 scientific papers, published in Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Poland, USA, Uzbekistan, Estonia.

Research interests: Ukrainian and Russian folklore, Old Russian and Ukrainian literature, Shevchenko studies, hagiology, biblical studies, comparative and intertextual studies, textual criticism, poetics, "exact" methods in the study of folklore and literature, historical lexicology and stylistics of the Ukrainian language and cultural aspects of history management of the eastern Slavs.
