"SECOND ABBREVIATION EXPLOSION" AND LANGUAGE FOR SPECIAL PURPOSES:
A FEW REMARKS TO THE CHARACTER OF THE PROCESS


Abstract. The author in aspect of cognition of Ukrainian literary language's evolution and analyzes extra-and  intralinguistic differences between the two waves of so-called abbreviation explosion. The material  linguistically objectifies category of language antonyms that correlates with social causes of acronyms' creating. In comparison of abbreviations processes in Ukrainian, Belarusian and Russian languages it is possible to formulate the thesis about abbreviation processes as one of the manifestations of the analytic system of Ukrainian language.
